CITY TOUR AND TLAQUEPAQUE |
After a drive through the old and modern
residential areas of this beautiful city, also called “The Pearl of the
West”, and a panoramic tour of the Minerva Fountain, the Arches, the
University of Guadalajara and the gothic Expiatory Church, we will arrive to
the historical downtown where we will visit the magnificent colonial
buildings like: the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Degollado Theatre,
the Tapatian Plaza and the Cabańas Institute, including the squares that
surround the Cathedral, we will again board our vehicle to continue to
Tlaquepaque, the famous artisan village where, old colonial mansions are now
shops, perfect showcases for the large variety of Mexican arts & crafts.

TOUR OF TLAQUEPAQUE AND TONALA |
A tour specially designed for those that love
Mexican arts and crafts. You will begin with a visit to the village of
Tlaquepaque, where you will find the most representative of the Mexican
products. You will admire the artisans at work when you visit the main shops
located inside beautiful colonial mansions. Tlaquepaque was, in the old
days, a place where the elite of the city had their weekend and summer
homes, these homes now being lovely shops. Continuing afterwards to Tonala,
a town that offers a large variety of arts and crafts at prices you will not
find anywhere else. This tour is of special interest on Saturdays and
Sundays, when they have their “tianguis” or, open air market, and artisans
from the entire region come to the streets of Tonala to sell their products.

TOUR OF ZAPOPAN AND OBLATOS CANYON. |
A visit to the ancient Indian village of
Zapopan, home for the venerated image of “Our Lady of Zapopan”, an image
honored with the highest military and religious ranks due to her any
miracles and patron saint of the city where we find Her special shrine. Next
door to the shrine, we will also visit the colorful Museum of the Huichol
Art. The Huicholes are an indigenous group that have kept their customs,
dialects and traditions until today and they are masters in working with
beeds and embroidery. We will then continue with a drive to the impressive
Oblatos Canyon to admire the scenery around the most important canyon of the

MEXICAN MARKETS TOUR |
This tour is special, not only if you`re
interested in Mexican arts & crafts, but because of the colors, smell and
variety of Mexico`s markets. We will begin visiting the town of Tonala,
where we will visit the artisans in their workshops, and the famous Ken
Edwards store and gallery. We will then continue on to the Corona Market, a
market where beautiful, colorful flowers are found, as Mexicans are fond of
their flowers. We will also walk by the food section, explaining the
different ingredients and flavors of the Mexican cuisine. Includes:

TOUR TO LAKE CHAPALA. |
Visiting Mexico`s largest lake and the
villages of Chapala and Ajijic, with it's famous textiles and romantic
atmosphere. We will also visit Chula Vista and San Juan Cosala where they
have the hot water springs. Lake Chapala is worldwide famous because of it`s
magnificent weather all year round and the lovely scenery. You will see
beautiful bougainvillea's in bloom all year round and great views, that will
make you understand why thousands of retired Americans and Canadians and ar
t ists have decided to make the Lake Chapala area their permanent home.

TOUR TO TEQUILA. |
During the one hour drive to the city of
Tequila, we will see the bluish-green patches of agave plants, that blend
with the earth tones and greens of the countryside. The very special Blue
Agave plant is what we make the tequila, our National drink with. Upon
arrival to the city of Tequila, we will visit the downtown area, the Sauza
Family museum and the replica of an ancient tequila factory, before we visit
a working distillery to see the entire process of elaboration. Learn to
distinguish the different types of tequila and why not… have a taste of them

FIESTA NIGHT IN GUADALAJARA. |
Our tour guide will pick you up this evening
for a drive through the main streets and avenues of the city by night and
the famous area with heavy European influence called “ The Nine Corners” on
your way to the restaurant where you will enjoy a Mexican dinner with full
entertainment. Tonight you will hear a live mariachi band and see the
presentation of some folkloric dances. Mexico`s colors and sounds will
please your senses! After dinner your tour guide will take you back to the
