Day 01 |
Arrival at Mexico City
airport. Assistance and transfer to your hotel. Overnight.
|

Day 02 |
México City Tour:
Breakfast. We will go to historic down town, declared World Heritage Site
by UNESCO since 1987. We will see the “Zócalo” or main square, the
Cathedral, the Government Palace with Diego Rivera´s murals, where we will
find five centuries of history of Mexico. Panoramic view of some beautiful
buildings as Mining Palace, National Art Museum, Post Office and the
Alameda central park, where the Fine Arts Palace is located. Head to
Reforma Avenue and Chapultepec area. Arrival and visit to Anthropology
Museum, one of the most important in the world. You may stay there or go
back to the hotel. We suggest an optional tour to Xochimilco´s water
canals. Overnight.

Day 03 |
México – Tajín – Poza
Rica: Breakfast. Early departure to visit the archeological site of the
Tajín, located in the state of Veracruz. Meeting UPON THIS Ceremonial site
of the Totonaca culture you will bare upon its principal building, the
“Pyramid de los Nichos”, it has 365 niches located in seven levels and it
is associated with the days of the solar year. Its Ball game is well known
for its rituals and the ceremonies that took place every time they
practiced this event. The astrological function of the principal pyramid
has similarities with other cultural zones in Mesoamerica. In the site of
the Tajín, you may witness the ritual event of the “Papantla´s Flyers”.
Continue on to Poza Rica. Lodging.

Day 04 |
Poza Rica – Veracruz:
Breakfast. We will continue on to the port of Veracruz, full off history
beautiful buildings from its colonial times. Among them: the Castle of San
Juan de Ulua, la Antigua, the Portals, el Malecón, and the biggest
Aquarium in Latin America. At night, you may enjoy the ambience that the
downtown has to offer with its “Jarocho” atmosphere. Lodging.

Day 05 |
Veracruz – Sumidero –
San Cristóbal: Breakfast-box lunch. Early morning departure to Tuxtla
Gutiérrez, capital city of the State of Chiapas. Transfer by boat to
Sumidero Park. Lunch. If time permits, we will walk by the eco-touristic
park; enjoy the swimming pool or the “Tyrolese” () optional). Boat ride
through the Sumidero Canyon, with 1,000 meters (3,300 feet) at its highest
point. Passing through Chiapa de Corzo on our way to San Cristóbal de las
Casas. Overnight.

Day 06 |
San Cristóbal de las
Casas – Indian Tours: Breakfast. Visit San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán,
typical Indian Towns, where the people still keep their traditions,
customs, believes as well as their social structures. Some times, you will
witness some traditional rituals. The Temple, housing and clothing are
very original. Afternoon at your leisure tic visit this beautiful city:
the Market, the Cathedral, Santo Domingo church as well as the Jade museum
to view King Pakal´s tomb replica. Overnight.

Day 07 |
San Cristóbal de las
Casas - Agua Azul – Palenque: Breakfast. Head to Agua Azul waterfalls, to
admire their turquoise colored waters. With possibility of swimming. If
the time permits it, a shortstop al Misol- Há will be making, another
beautiful falls. Afterwards we will continue on to Palenque. Dinner and
Overnight.

Day 08 |
Palenque – Campeche: Breakfast. Visit Palenque,
surrounded by jungle. One of the prime and most important sites of the
“Mayan World”. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, King Pakal´s
sarcophagus and its fascinating carved gravestone were found. We will view
the Sun Temple, The Cross Temple, The Palace. Departure to find a
beautiful panoramic of the Gulf of México. Lunch on your own. Continuation
to Campeche city. Dinner. Overnight.

Day 09 |
Campeche – Uxmal –
Mérida: Breakfast. Panoramic view through the city and departure to Uxmal.
We will visit this archaeological site and its wonders: the Guesser
Pyramid, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, Governor´s Palace, the Ball game
Court. Lunch and arrival to Mérida, “the White City” to enjoy a panoramic
view: Montejo Avenue, the monument to Motherland, the Main Square, the
Cathedral, Government Palaces. Overnight.

Day 10 |
Mérida – Chichén Itzá
– Cancun: Breakfast. Departure to Chichén Itzá, the most important and
awesome Mayan site in Mexico. We will find advanced archaeo-astronomic
knowledge in this city. We will visit the pyramid known as the “Castle” or
Temple Kukulcan, the Ball game Court, the Skull temple, Jaguar´s temple,
the Observatory, the One Thousand Columns Square and the Sacred Well.
Ahead to beautiful well IK-IL, where we will be able to swim in. lunch.
Continuation to Cancun. Arrival and Overnight.

Day 11 |
Cancun: Breakfast. Free day to enjoy the wonderful
talcum powdered turquoise beaches or take an optional tour as Isla Mujeres,
Xcaret, Tulum / Xel-Há or Cozumel. Our office will be more than happy in
suggesting alternatives and confirm your flight. Overnight.

Day 12 |
Cancun: Breakfast. At
convenient time, transfer to the airport. Flight ticket not included. End
of Services.
